Forever

He trembled as he lent to kiss her soft pale lips. For he knew once he had given his kiss he would be hers. It was not fear that made him tremble, but desire. He wanted to savour the feelings he felt and not rush to miss a precious moment.

As he touched her lips he felt a softness he had never known. He had kissed lips before but none as fragile as these. As he smelt her skin it brought forth memories of spring. A mixture of frangipani, fresh rain and orange blossom.

As he took her in his arms, it was if he had waited for this one moment. His arms gently slowly with a mind of their own, held his love. As he feared that this precious second in time would be lost. She looked into his eyes and whispered “will you” “forever” he replied.

Take this heart

Take this heart from me; it causes me pain she cried   It never listens to my head, it walks it own path.   It makes my eyes water and it kills my body little by little.  Take this heart from me, she screamed til she was hoarse.

Take this brain from me; it causes me pain she cried  It thinks of what could have been and what has past.  It makes my body ache with its imagination of what ifs.  Take this brain from me, she screamed in sorrow and despair.

Take this skin from me; it causes me pain she cried  It longs for his touch, the fire and desire he creates. It makes me long for his fingers to caress as only he can.  Take this skin from me, she screamed til she could bear it no more.

Take this soul from me; it causes me pain she cried.   It seeks its mate, who will never be together as one again.  It makes my soul long for he who said he would never leave.  Take this soul from me, she screamed til she could scream no more.

Take me as I am for I am no more

When all else Fails

She closed her eyes and felt the world outside disappear. Within a moment her senses had adjusted, her skin tingled and she could hear her heart beat its steady determined pace. She drew breath in as deep as she could, not stopping until she thought she would burst....holding it for a split second...and then slowly exhaling.

As she lay she felt all the pain, the hurt, and the deception flow away from her body into the earth. The flow was steady and warm, it was as if a razor had danced across her wrists. As she lay, she felt all the love, the desire and happiness flow away from her body into the water. The flow was steady and cool; like kisses from ocean against her skin.

Her mind was free at last, for there was nothing left for her to feel, no thinking, no regrets. A tear ran down her cheek, a single silver tear. She looked into her mind and saw only a silver box. Was this all that was left she thought, through everything I had done in my life, all that was left was a tiny silver box no bigger than a childs hand....how can that be...

I have nothing left to give, to share, to receive, to be she thought. She looked into the box, it was empty. She went to throw it away but something caught her eye; it was tiny and she had almost missed it. She looked again and there it was fragile but growing stronger. It was then that she noticed that there was something written on the box ""cum omnis alioquin destitutor deinde eccere speratus""

Mirage

He pressed his lips to hers, drinking her deeply as if she were precious water and he had been wandering lost in the Sahara for the longest time. He searched and discovered her body; feeling the arch of her back knowing that it was made for his hands alone. He caressed her smooth pale skin, ran his fingers though her silky hair, stopping to pull her head back so he could quench his thirst.

He felt the heat rise like the midday sun on the desert sands, his hands trembled like the haze on the horizon, his eyes saw only a mirage, he knew that he must be hallucinating for these feelings could not be real, this woman could not be true. She reached out and touched him, and it was so.

The Woman

She looked across the room and saw a woman sitting alone. The woman's hair shone from the sun, and her pale skin glowed in the warmth of the day. The woman had a gentle expression on her face, showing years of experience some good...some bad

The woman's lips had a soft shade of lipstick still neatly applied, though it seemed as if they had not been kissed by a lover for a while now. The woman's eyes had a far away stare, and if you looked closely you could see a deep sadness flicker before her mask which she wore so well came back down

The woman sat tall yet relaxed; she seemed content in her own company, though her fingers traced the table like she was tracing a lovers arm. She thought this woman portrayed a confidence, yet she sensed a fragility like fine China. She looked across the room and saw the reflection in the window.

Angel's Soul

His fingers brushed across her arm, she felt the lightness of the angel's kiss. He whispered true words in her ear, she felt the caress of the angel's breath. He held her in his arms, she felt the strength of the angel's wings. She looked up into his eyes, and was lost forever in the angel's soul, and she was home.
